Workshops

Dr Ken’s workshops enhance and complement his engaging science shows. They allow for in-depth exploration combining hands-on discovery learning with open ended investigations. School workshops are ideal for class-sized groups, with versions for different key stages and flexible session times ranging from 20 – 60 minutes.

We have developed workshops for science weeks, STEM activity days, STEAM events, summer schools, pupil referral unit, secure units, home educators and CPD courses for teachers, ensuring that everyone can benefit from our unique approach to science education.

Dr Ken has researched the effect informal delivery methods have in the formal school environment through the funding of action research projects. This includes exploring how pupil led video resource production can reinforce their understanding of science principles and how behaviour is affected when taking part in informally delivered ‘fun’ circus activities.
